Default Design Challenge: Mitsubishi Makeover

1. Mercedes M-Class - The Mercedes-Benz M-Class led the charge out the gate for the now highly contested cross-over segment. At the time of its launch, the “M” was a state of the art vehicle boasting technological advancements and even cemented itself in popular culture as the “popemobile”. Since then the cross-over segment has taken off and the M-Class has had to fend for itself in a crowded sea of competitors. Are you up for the challenge to make this vehicle the leader of the pack once more?

2. Mitsubishi Makeover - Two things come to mind when one brings up the subject of Mitsubishi Motors, (1). The Lancer Evolution and (2). They Still Exist! well the truth is, Mitsubishi Motors is alive and well and could use a dose of adrenaline back into the brand. Its time to bring back the glory days of the 3000GT, Eclipse, FTO and Starion. Can you look to the past to cement the brands future?

3. The Dream Machine - Let's forget all the difficult goals automakers' have to face and economic problems for once. Is it still possible to dream? Let's have fun and create a cool city car that would also be fine as a highway cruiser. How about giving it toy like styling. Stretch the imagination and dream again.

well… since no one has put in their 2˘ and TdeV has stated that his vote would have gone for the MItsubishi challenge, I've decided to declare the Mitsubishi challenge the winner of the poll. Contest will be up shortly.

Default Design Challenge: Mitsubishi Makeover

There was once a time when Mitsubishi Motors competed on the worlds stage with comparable vehicles, breathtaking design and overall value for performance. Now however, outside of the Lancer Evolution the brand is the butt of many an automotive joke and most people can barely remember that the brand still exists. With most of the models in the sparse lineup sporting a sad case of EVOFace the current design language has become quite stale and could really use an extreme makeover as well as a dose of adrenaline to get tongues wagging about Mitsubishi once more. Perhaps its time for one of Mitsubishi's iconic sports cars like the 3000GT, Eclipse, FTO or Starion to make a comeback, or perhaps an all new model is in order to shake things up once more.
Its up to you to decide!

Good luck designers!!! This contest will end on November 29.
Also, don't forget to post your development sketches and ideations in the Contest Development Thread

The 3000GT should be brought back so thus my entry. I tried to avoid the large mouth grille and the side window curves into the rear b-pillar [ though I forgot to do that].
