Default 2019 Cadillac XT4

Looks like previous generation Kia Sorento with Cadillac badge.

It's fine, but it needs chrome around the windows at least to work. As it is, I agree, it doesn't really look any more upscale than a Kia (then again, it's priced about the same as a high-end Sorento). Interior is interesting, definitely a departure from previous Cadillacs - not a bad thing. Finally, physical buttons!

So, Cadillac Equinox V2.0.

It looks better than the XT5, but not much.

The tail lights are strange.

It needed a lot more Escala and less Kia.

This should knock the socks off the hideous UX (it probably won't because of the badge).
There is so much promise here, but it's let down in a few key areas. the abundance of black plastic, near complete lack of chrome, and that paint color are a shame. The gray it's also showcased in is quite nice.

This and the updated CT5 are really looking good and showing some progress in the Caddy design language (that actually gets implemented). Since the XTS I've felted every car they've put out has been derivative and safe, but things are finally happening. The new grille and headlights are sexy. I also love the tail lights although they are a bit odd.

Like the with the XT5, I think the interior is gorgeous and a very handsome yet unique. The screen framing is well executed.

Cadillac needs to look more expensive than this toy car proportions imply. You can do small FWD platform without mimicking Kia's toy car look (Mercedes GLA does a good job, as does the XC40---and X2 although i know I'm alone there). however, the detailing and interior are top notch so hopefully this provides enough sales to keep something interesting V cars in the pipeline.

I would agree but going by the size (longer than a Ford Escape somehow) and price ($35k) this actually competes with the NX. It sure looks smaller than that though...

It's looking okay, but IMO not that special (there are traits of Ford Edge here and there, and Kia detailing) or premium looking. In a huge sea of cross overs, this is another blend in design.

Inside looks way better though.
