That really has to be one of the worst car names ever.

damn… I'm not in a mood to search if there is thread for it in spy section or even less to open one if there isn't… so I'll just post them here…

and as expected it seems more like a beached whale than its sexy shootingbrake concept…

The general model line competes w/ the Civic, et al? I think it actually rather decent and should provide respectable practicality. ::shrug::

If the vehicle were lackluster would it be the SuckCeed?

To me it looks a lot like a Mercedes CLA shooting break, which is IMO also not the most attractive vehicle on the roads.

Yes, Civic etc., the whole C-segment; This time actually not much else than a Kia Forte hatchback (before the two C-segment offerings were separate), or, in this case, shooting break (there is a proper ceed estate as well)

I actually think it looks pretty promising for what it is. It was obviously never going to have the concept's proportions anyway.

Despite being a far cry from the sexy RWD proportions of last year's concept, it does look better than the spy shots suggested. A Mercedes CLA Shooting break on a budget, with nicer proportions still. Yes, there is the same weird shark fin in the belt line that the new DS3 has, probably that is a thing now; And, unfortunately, Kia has jumped on the fake exhaust bandwagon, so truly German premium on a budget ;)

Inside, usual Kia ceed, though with contrast stitching on the dash:

I think it's quite handsome for a FWD car, although I imagine the steeply raked backlight cuts into cargo space. I'd certainly welcome the opportunity to purchase one in the US (esp since VW won't give us a GTI/GLI wagon... or make a car that's halfway reliable, by our standards).
