Interesting....

- 35kg lighter depending on engine
- 1.8 litre engine....

Hmm... 2 thoughts:

* No wonder its lighter. It only has half an engine!
* I'll tell you the other thought when the car moves off the line. Let me know when its done....

They have a higher-output engine like the 2.3 MZR unit of the previous MZ6.

But Mazda said that it is now a 2.5 liter engine.

2.5 MZR engine with 170ps or more. I still need to find the press article on that (I think worldcarfans has it.....i think).

yeah thats true. I have the press article on my screen now. For Europe:

1.8:
120 hp @ 5500 rpm
165 Nm @ 4300 rpm
5M

2.0:
147 hp @ 6500 rpm
184 Nm @ 4000 rpm
H6 or A5

2.5:
170 hp @ 6000 rpm
226 Nm @ 4000 rpm
H6

2.0 CiTD:
138 hp @ 3500 rpm
330 Nm @ 3500 rpm
H6

The US will get the 2.5 and 3.5 or 3.7 V6

pretty nice!!! i like its rear led lights... mazda never uses "boring"/normal taillights for this car! the first generation had lexus style taillights and thisone has led... nice!
my fother has the 1.8lt (yeah here in greece we use small engines, no money for a V6) and he is very satisfied!!

It only has a door handle on the right hand side! That's bothering me now. And I hate the ugly buttons on the side of the SatNav.

Ahura, from your specs, what does "H6" mean?
