Although thats not the case for the current Atenza Sport (hatchback). That model always have bigger bumpers and such (just like in the US). The current sedan always has normal bumpers and no real sportsgrade. And the Sport Wagon has the 20F and 23C with normal bumpers while the rest has the sportsgrade bumpers/grille etc

What was so weird about that? Now Opel is taking that grille over so Mazda had to change their grille (now it has chrome on the bttm). But the current Mazda3 and Mazda6 just has a normal grille with a chrome bar on top with the Mazda logo half into it. Almost the same like they started it in 1996. But maybe you refering to the sportsgrades...

I didn't say they are/were weird, i said they looked kinda funny and i stand by that since it is a personal opinion. The Mazda3 grill and the Peugeot 307 pre-facelift grills were among my all time least favorites. Don't ask why, i just did not like them. Also the Opel grills look different

Anyone else think that we're looking at the US version with the JDM version of the 6?

Don't know.. the grille; yeah. Front bumper.. mwa.. the bumper doesn't look thát muscular and the foglights of the US version looks to be more towards the end of the bumper. I'm think you will get different headlights (small tripe of (LED?) lights

The 2.5 will get two exhaust pipes next to eachother

While the V6 gets Lexus LS-like pipes:

And the taillights seem to be very normal; just red and white like the Mazda2 and CX-9

Wow.. CosworthKid.. really.. almost all your reply's have a negative tone to it... here you go; two good pics that work and of a normal size:

But you probably ment this Mazda3 grille: http://www.mazda-madness.nl/images/g3lifte.jpg

But I think thats weird because how often do you see a Mazda3 with sportsgrille in your country..?

Really..? I've never seen it here. Only the sportgrille before the facelift. Like we have on our car (standard toptrim). Ugly too but less ugly then the facelifted sportsgrille. Well.. to be honest, I hardly see a new Mazda3 here. Its on the 87th place in 2007 of the salesrecords. Quite bad!
