Gross. This thing is going to have a hard time competing against the MDX and its other competitors.

Gross is the exact word i'd use too to describe this.

Also 20hp increase for the 450h over the 350 is nothing. Normally Toyota/Lexus would have at least a 40hp increase. I was expecting the lithium battery for it too (with have the increase could have been 60hp).

I hope this does struggle and as a result has a short life span of 4years (without facelift). The front with the pointy look (from the side view) just isnt right at all.

Wow umm where do we start? Ok the front looks like the Infiniti EX a bit, i guess because its so non-suv-ish anymore its more like a wagon. Rear, Mazda CX-9. Interior will just take some getting used to,
One thing that is really bugging me is why the hood overlaps the headlamps? Is it because its a pre-production or what? But it really bothers me.

I am a fan of the current RX, its a great looking SUV and it doesnt even look old at all though it came out as a 2004 model.

This just looks unoriginal, smaller, its as if the car wasnt ready to be taken out of the oven yet, they shouldve let it cooked some more.

Is there no rear wiper, or is it tucked under the spoiler a la Range Rover?

By the way, I'm not a fan yet...I'll hold my official judgments until I see it in person, but so far, the current one is much better. Great interior, though.

now that I had a better look at the interior, it doesn't look that interesting as I first thought. Current RX looks so good, and this is just wrong. WTF is wrong with Lexus designs lately? LX turned out like a pig, and now this..

Whoa wait a sec! Is that an iDrive-like controller on that littler tumor in front of the shift lever? I thought Lexus was all about the user-friendly touchscreen systems?

P.S. That interior is AWFUL. It suffers from Tundra syndrome; too many different materials, too many different colors, and a design that looks like it was drawn by a drunk toddler with their eyes closed.
