Default 2020 Mercedes GLS

Can't see much, but there are no surprises based on what you can see. Very similar shape to the upcoming GLB, IMHO. Also, does the car seem to be riding rather high (even for an SUV?)

The shape looks terrible. Those prototype wheels are horrific.

I agree on both accounts. The shape still looks like the current "Land Cruiser with a 3 pointed star", and the wheels look like were purchased on eBay and on used third hand CIvics to impress at the McDDonalds car park. (in general, when looking how much taste was lost in the design of German premium sports sedans in the recent generations, I can't help but think that now the generation "Need for Speed Underground" is designing and buying those cars)

German car fans say the Land Cruiser is ugly, but with Mercedes and BMW grill they'll praise it.

funny this seems to have a much busier profile while the rest of the lineup is finally getting rid of all the swoops and excess lines. the new interior can't come soon enough.

It does look off, but hard to tell how bad under all that camo. Mercedes need a new design direction and fast.
