Not sure if all -60 variations have their own thread, but I thought I'd put this here. End of the video shows a few glimpses of the V60. Car still seems to have "hips" and thus will be wider than it really needs to be, but the greenhouse looks more upright (and thus should be more space efficient than the current design).

For once I have to agree. Interiors are certainly the best in general (though I also like most Lexus interiors), and the outside of the lineup in general - whilst probably not the most outstanding model by model - all look very tasteful and lack a single, not good looking car. Most car makers have at least one ugly duckling in their lineup, or are super boring throughout anyway. In that respect I guess your assessment is correct

Have you driven one?

Touchscreen operated everything is a bit of pain in the a** while driving - when you are listening to the music and want to change the temperature you need to go back to the main screen, choose AC and then you have a slider or plus/minus buttons, same for heated seats, etc. There are no shortcuts available and everything requires a lot o clicking through the menu.

Plus their digital display is way behind virtual cockpit in Audi.

Still, I must admit the interior in general looks very nice, is well put together and uses good materials and the seats are very good - but it certainly is not the best.

And I do love the exterior design of the new Volvos.

-i was refering to design mostly, and the quality of materials, and the way they are used. Yes, I don't like all touch controls, but then I mostly use steering wheel buttons; AUdi's MMI isn't exactly intuitive either, and the newest gen. switched to touchscreen too. And the digital cockpits are mostly gimmicks, with satellite view Google maps being a great gadget for 5 minutes, and then not that easy to comprehend at one glance. And one thing that infuriates me with Audi's digital cockpits are tose super cheap LED bars for fuel and engine temp next to a high res screen; TO be honest, no cockpit interface is perfect, every make i have driven so far had it's highs and lows, personally I'm a "button and analogue dials" guy, but that is not where the trend is going anywhere....

Great looking wagon as expected. Love Volvo's design language albeit they all seem to pretty much look the same, more so than even Audis.
