The NSX is a brilliant $60K car.

Exactly. NO ONE should be dumb enough to pay stratospheric prices for a Honda, Toyota, or Ford. The Ford GT should have been a $75K car. Ditto the LFA.

There is a South California Dodge dealer asking $250k for a Dodge Demon.

Only an idiot would buy that.

My neighbour has ordered one; about $125K CDN. To me that's pretty rich for a Dodge. But he wants it to compliment his Viper. The guy is clearly overcompensating for something...

Or just likes speed. Some times its best to just keep it on the surface, face value.

The Viper probably never leaves 2nd gear. I think it's more show.

I bet it has enough torque to take off in 6th.

You are probably right about most, but I do know a guy who regularly tracks his Viper and leads mountain drives with a bunch of sportscars.

I knew a guy who had more $$ than brains. He bought a Viper and wrapped it around a tree - had no idea how to handle this thing. So, then he bought a second - did the exact same thing. His dad said no more - so he bought a Ferrari. Sigh.
