Default Subaru VIZIV Tourer Concept

https://www.netcarshow.com/subaru/20...ourer_concept/

Another concept for Geneva, the Subaru VIZIV Tourer Concept previews vision for a next crossover/sports wagon; Boxer engione, symetrical AWD speak Subaru, but the exterior - to me - has Lexus vibes; I wonder how much of that might end up in the next Outback?

The people at Subaru who style their concepts never talk to the people who style road-going Subarus. So, yeah, this is nice looking, but the production Subaru will be awkward, ungainly, and terrible looking.

That is unfortunately true for many brands

Again another good looking Subaru that will not look like the one at the dealership.

I agree entirely.

What's particularly annoying is that the shapes don't seem like they would be THAT hard to translate into production. So what gives, Subaru??? Argh.

Agreed. Subaru are hopeless in this regard. Like other Subaru concepts, looks decent. A shame that's where things will probably end and any production version be awkward looking. We've seen this story way too many times before.

If Subarus looked like their concepts, I might be able to overlook their thumpa-thumpa-sounding engines.
