I will never get the concept of the currnet "flying cars". In Sci fi movies, you roll, see a traffic jam, press a button a fly away. This i s essentially a helicopter ((bond to all FAA regulations), where you are limited to airports and helipads; Then you can drive away in what is a very compromised "car". but you are not allowed probably in most places to just start your helicopter at the end of a traffic jam, let alone then land somewhere downtown near the shops, so what's the point? If I fly somewhere with "my" helicopter, the 200k I save by buying a normal lightweight unit gives me a lot of spare cash for nice rental cars at my destination....

Might just be me, but I can't see this... taking off.

Sorry, I'll see myself out.
