Cycloid is built off a new global modular platform called "Dynamic Multipurpose Utility" or DMU for short. These platforms underpin everything from segments A to D, and it makes vehicles using this chassis dynamically superior to their predecessors, whilst being lighter and more economical.
Common features of this platform
- Transverse layout engines, with front-wheel drive
- Engines ranging from 3-6 cylinders, petrol and diesel variants
- Electric ready
- Front MacPherson strut front suspension
- Multiple option rear suspension, torsion beam, multilink, solid rear axle
The Cycloid, and Cycloid Ontario is our newest B-segment entry, primarily focused at the value-end of the segment. Cycloid comes powered from engines as small as 800cc, and all the way up to 1.6L. Transmissions range from a slick-shifting six-speed manual, a traditional four-speed automatic, or a smooth CVT automatic.
Cycloid is ready to take on Versa, Punto, Corsa, Fiesta, and Accent!
In the US, power comes from a strong and economical 1.2L, GDI Turbo, making 118HP, and mated to a 6-speed manual, or a CVT automatic. (Base Cycloid and Cycloid Ontario V trim come with a 4-speed automatic as an option)
US pricing are as follows:
Cycloid
V - $11,105
VX - $13,785
Fabri - $15,478
Ambition - $17,405
Cycloid Ontario
V - $11,905
VX - $14,585
Fabri - $16,005
Ambition - $17,550
(Each trim is specified with a manual transmission, automatic transmission adds $350 per car)

Wow, a 6 cylinder in such a tiny car? Would be similar in essence to the Mazda Mx3. Though to be honest the 3 cylinder engine seems most befitting to the looks of the Cycloid.
It's best angle is the hatchback render shot of the 3/4 side/rear. Shows off that interesting low curving belt line which is probably it's major styling feature. The large greenhouse and generous glass area is quite French also. It would be appreciated to brighten interior up a bit [even though it looks rather dark for being a sunny setting].
The wheels on the "sport" model are particularly racy, though overall the wheels look a tad too small especially on the sedan.

Thanks!
Well, the 6-cyl is for the platform itself; it's a new modern modular platform, like MQB. This car has three and four cylinders.
And yes, the wheels ARE small, on purpose! These are 14-16" wheels, and they're meant to be cheap and economical. The whole car is almost directly akin to the Nissan Versa sedan and Nissan Micra (JP, CA).
I do realize the interior is kind of dull and dark, but it's also a budget car.
Thanks for the critiques, the glasshouse and wheels are almost an anti-thesis to modern small cars these days ;)

Two things:
I facelifted these cars already haha.
Also I came up with some sort of JDM style adverts

I must admit the advertisement design kinda overwhelms the cars themselves, i.e. kinda hard to focus on the car itself [so many roses I can practically smell perfume through the screen xD] but aside from that the new grille gives it more character, a more memorable nose. The previous grill in contrast was more commonplace.
The hatchback is the best resolved, especially the pink one without the lower grille. The sedan though looks a little awkward, mainly towards the rear.
