Default 2018 Chevrolet Beat

Technically, this is a different car than the current Chevrolet Spark. It's the old Spark, styled to look like the new Spark, and sold at a lower price point.

This car was intended to be sold in India, but GM abruptly pulled out of India. Weirdly enough, this car is still made in India. Then shipped over to Mexico.

Comes in two flavors, hatch, and an originally designed for India sub 4m sedan. (Beat Notchback)

I think that front end actually looks better than the current Spark’s. The rest is certainly showing its age though.

I'd rather have the old Spark than the new one.

it did look better IMO, and I'm certain it is still a better car than many of those 3rd world penalty boxes it will compete with

Like 99% of those tiny car derived sedans; I have to think hard to remember a small sedan that is not more or less unattractive or even ugly. Probably in the 1990ies, since small cars adapted the "sort of MPV" tall and mostly one box design in the 2000s, their shape doesn't lend itself to adding a boot....

GM has this fascination with vertical tail lights. They are ugly as sin on the Sonic sedan and they are ugly here. The tails of both cars would have been 1000% better resolved with horizontal tail lights.
