True. What I don't like about the new RR is the awkward integration of the rear bumper and the fussiness of the front end design. It's not bad, but it could have turned out a whole lot better had they just kept some things simple. I prefer the current generation in the looks department.

Interesting that after all the criticism the Evoque got, the RR doesn't get a modern infotainment system or app suite. That seems to be a glaring omission.

A conscious decision, or a sign of Tata's limited resources/experience?

Now the changes for 2014 - no Naturally Aspirated V8 for the base & HSE models, a Supercharged V6 petrol engine with 340HP it.

Default New V6 Turbo gas engine.

The new Range Rover is to have its engine range bolstered by the addition of a supercharged V6 petrol, albeit not in the UK. The 3.0-litre unit produces 335bhp and 332lb ft, enough for a 0-60mph time of 7.1sec and a 130mph top speed. Emissions are rated at 254g/km.
