Well, the D-segment in Europe has actually grown considerably lately, this is not really much bigger than an Insignia, Mondeo or Skoda Superb. The real problem is that most of these cars sell 90% as an estate (which this does not offer), and mostly to fleets, where Diesel is still more relevant in most markets than a Hybrid, even though real life consumption is likely better here;

Indeed, as I was typing out that post, I did remember that our Fusion is your Mondeo. Ditto for the wagon and diesel, let us know how many camrys make it onto roads out there.

It's too much but mainly because the SE/XSE front end is awful. The LE/XLE is better, but still overdone. It's too bad because I find everything from the front wheels back to be quite nice. Maybe the facelift will tone things down a bit; something more like the new Corolla would be nice.
