Not only BMW,in Europe, vast majority of German brands, especially the premium ones, are fleet sales; Company cars and rental cars can make up 70 - 80% of sales (Passat usually the king with around 95% fleet sales in major markets), it's nothing new or outstanding; Also a reason why non German brands will never achieve anywhere near the sales here, as most of these brands have exclusive contracts (with massive discounts, naturally)

BMW isn't even the worst offender, the 3 series is comparably popular as a private car (at one point being the king of private lease, and among the most popular used cars)

Would be a great move if they did this. Amazing.

Replacing the horrible RLX and the bland TLX with a Legend that looks like the Precision concept to battle the Lexus ES, would be brilliant. The RLX was so obviously a crudely lengthened Accord with very minimal styling differentiation. A true replacement for the RLX would be a large, commodious crossover with a NAME.

Honda stopped selling the Accord in Europe not too long ago....Are they really thinking the market can jump from Civic to Legend?

Is the Legend a credible seller there? I can't imagine that being the case because it's patently terrible beyond belief.

Thanks. That restores my faith in Europeans.
