I'll second that too, on all fronts. Especially the interior part, that is absolutely stunning for this segment and has every German premium licked by a mile...

The hatch looks mis-shaped somehow. Beyond that, another stunner from Mazda.

Not sure about the rear of the hatchback. I'll need to see it in person to make my mind up. The bluntness reminds me of the Leon and Golf, circa 2008...?

The rest is stunning, especially that interior. Clean and minimalistic without looking cheap.

Yes! That's the word I was looking for (misshapen). The hood has a hunchback look and so does the greenhouse.

Make mine a third. This thing is gorgeous, IMO, especially the hatch.

I think it might be one of these things that I need to see in person before making final judgement.

So you thought the Aztek was gorgeous in person?

Obviously not. However looks are subjective. Given Mazda's track record - I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I really don't like the C pillar area of the hatchback unfortunately.

Not sure about the interior yet, have to see some less artistic photos where you can actually make out something.

Definitely prefer the current model (which still looks gorgeous btw)

Although I enjoy the exterior of the hatch, I think we can all agree that the result for rear of the interior is pretty abysmal. Granted, the car will have standard parking assist, back up camera, 360-degree camera and blind-spot monitoring, but still. Yikes:
