Default 200? Lotus Europa Prototype R

Saw this car whilst walking through Central Milton Keynes in January. Didn't think anything of it, but then showed a friend the other day and he suggested I post it on a site... so here you go, my first and probably last post. Sorry if this car is not new, but googled it and found nothing so...

Car is registered as a Europa S, but it has Prototype R in red under the europa logo, and the Zonda type quad pipes.....

OK, as a Lotus expert I can tell you that this is somebodys idea of a great way to look "cool". IT IS NOT A LOTUS PROTOTYPE. Why in the Lord's name would a car company announce a prototype status with badging on a mule? Does this seem at all like Lotus knowing their history? Does Lotus have some really neat stuff in the pipeline? You betcha. Is this one of them. Nope.

you Americans ...
cars don't need to be big.
they need to be light and fast.
the exige with 1.8 toyota engine is faster on the track then pagani zonda.

it is much larger then the elise/exige.

I think he meant since he assumed it was a GT( GRAND tourer) he expected it to be bigger and different.

Problem solved!

It belongs to Thorney Motorsport, the VX Tunners (or Opel Speedster depending where you 're from). I'm informed that it has 250bhp, Nitron Suspension and new wheels and tyres.
Nothing as serious as a protoype Lotus. Good post though!
