I like it too.
At the front, the squarer "mouth" introduced on the RC Z concept is better looking than the smaller, rounded one of the actual car i think.

At the back, the new tail lights look good too : small detail but i like the white blade-like indicators wich will, most probably, be a regular feature on the back of future peugeots.

I think they've ruined it.

I see this...

I think of this...

The sweet spot for Peugeot design was the 206, the cars before were building up to it from way back in the early 90s (remember the original 905 Le Mans car with the triangular 'feline' headlamps?), since the 206, its got exaggerated, cartoonified, and, yes, ugly.

The rear view looks to be an improvement (if that is what it looks like) The front is crazy with that massive lower grille and nose, it might fit in with other Peugeots and give it a unique design from the rest of the market, but ive never been a fan of it

I always liked the 407, it was such a departure from the usual classic Peugeot sedans with it's crazy big mouth looking agressive and Ferrari-like when it came out.
The back look less bulky with the new tail lamps but i don't mind the Audi-inspired back end of the current car.
At the front, the more angular grille looks good imo, but it's getting a bit too busy-looking.

The chromed strip through the backlights is a nice detail, but overall that new design is a step backwards. i mean, literally. It looks a lot like the old 406 (post-facelift)

True.
I didnt notice the back has a clear resemblance to the 406 1st gen.

i didnt think the white on the taillamps was chrome-made but thought it was the reverse-lights.(stiil, you could be right)
i'am not sure what it was made of on some of the concepts...
