Default Jeep Patriot

Look on page 25, the production Jeep Patriot. Looks extremely good, and will fit in the Jeep lineup very nicely.

Nice find! It does look nice... better than the Compass, by a long shot. Would this be the more hardcore offroader, a counter to the Compass as a softroader?

Also, is that the production Nitro?

My, the Compass is a homely little thing, isn't it! After all the great Jeep concepts over the past few years, too.

The Patriot (as far as one can tell from the pic) looks neat and tidy, if a little unadventurous.

The name's a bit dubious, though. Presumably their next model will be called the Jingo...

The Compass and Patriot will do remarkably well. As for the name "Patriot" it is entirely appropriate as Jeep battles foreign competition in the sport cute market.

I'm rather fond of it myself. I didn't like it at all at first; maybe it just takes some getting used to. I think with both the Compass and the Patriot, Jeep will have the low end of the market covered nicely.

Not for Americans!

looks like a baby Comander, but i like it WAY more than the Compass.

Hopefully it will be better in terms of styling inside and out than the Compass.

The Patriot will be Trail Rated. And yes, that is the production Nitro.

Clever, since a DCX official recently said the Patriot wasn't going to be produced.

But since the patriot pictured is OBVIOUSLY different than the Patriot concept, I'd say that lends credence to the possibility of a production model.

We can hope, anyway.

Patriot looks like a rebadged Nitro to me in that pic.
