Default Jeep Compass

http://autoweek.com/news.cms?newsId=102534

This first 2 pictures are of the Compass and the end is of the Dodge Caliber. They will be on the same platform, but will be two seperate vehicles, hence the new topic. The 7 slot grill is definately recognizable and it appears to be a little higher up than the Dodge.

It looks like it has 4 doors(the concept didnt), which is a good thing. I wonder how much it has changed to accomodate 2 extra doors.

I actually liked it as a two door. I know it wouldn't sell as well as a 4 door. Maybe based on its sucess they could do a two door like the two door Cherokee.

Looks like the Compass won't have the Liberty-esque curves in its hood like the concept did. Also, taillights are different from concept; they look more like those from the Magnum/300.

Man, can't wait to see better pics of these!

What do you mean? Do you mean the clamshell-type hood?

I really liked the Compass concept so I hope some of the design makes it to the production version. With the recent products from DCX, this will definitely not be a dull vehicle- the Caliber either. The Jeep version should have AWD shouldn't it? Or something to make it mildly capable?

For those who don't know what the concept Compass looked like...

DCX media

Looks nothing like the road version.
