Nope. They couldn't give them away. The price agreed to begin the lease was 15% off list. The lease had a floor for the depreciated value and the actual value of the car was projected to be below the floor. So they canceled the Corrado and people wanted them. So I bought it for the depreciated purchase price at the end of the lease which was lower than the depreciated price.
A V8 Mustang replaced the Corrado and that was a great move. The Mustang handled much better. The VR6 made the Corrado nose heavy so cornering was less than ideal. My 2015 Mustang carried the same sticker price as my 1993 Corrado's Monroney price.
