Not really fully undisguised, some black tape and what not remains on the lights. Is that silver trim around the car a final design? Hope it is just tape and the trim ends at the taillights.

If they tested this without any camo, I doubt normal people would even notice the difference.

I don't think this is part of the design. I could see a chrome strip between the tail lights though, like seen on the Prologue concept.

Agree. This looks too "faceliftish" even for Audi.
I think this also played a role in Wolfang Eggers replacement as design chief (this and the new Q7).

It looks already boring and dated, IMHO.

Agree. I don't like the new C Class--in fact I despise its looks, but compared to the 3 Series that looked barely redone on introduction and this Audi that looks literally the same as before, the C Class actually looks new and fresh to the point that were I buying a German sedan of this segment, I'd buy the C Class.

Same sameness. Audi designers need to consider moving into a new design direction because their cars are getting very boring to look at.

This needed to happen long ago. While a yawn-fest, at least this doesn't look too bad like some recent Audi design efforts.

I am sure it will sell but if sales don't increase and customers opt for the C or 3er, then I feel Audi needs to change up their design game and introduce a new theme,

In NA, A4 sales are pretty dismal:

3 Series: 152,318 (MY2014)
C Class: 82,119
Lexus IS: 55,303
A4: 44,529

You would think a better effort was warranted.

I don't think the new one will do any better, sales wise.

I agree.

What's funny is I've seen posts elsewhere that crow about how Audi's sales are improving at usually some amazing percent, yet Audi has a LONG way to catch up to the volume that BMW and Mercedes enjoy in NA.

The new A4 looks like a missed opportunity.

When the CLA came out and it siphoned off some of the previous C-Class' sales in addition conquest sales it earned for Mercedes. Mercedes wisely gave buyers a reason to purchase the new C Class by upping the ante.

The A3 is a great reason NOT to buy the current A4 and the new A4 doesn't seem to have an infusion of style--like the C Class got--to avoid sales poaching by the A3.

Maybe Lincoln and Cadillac aren't the most clueless luxury brands.
