Basically, like TT and Q7 (ok, that one is worse) and already the A3, the previous model with slightly sharper edges around lights and grille, and a slightly more pronounced side crease. This must be rock bottom in terms of visual improvement (yes, engines will be more efficient - on paper at least - and interior will be impeccable made, though probably also overly sober looking in base trim, but still, nothing excuses the levels of super boring seen here...)

Agree. As a longtime Audi lover and owner I am really disappointed by their current offerings, if I would be in a hurry for a new car right now I definitely wouldn't consider one again (the skyrocketing prices don't help either, just crazy).

with as much unenthused inflection as possible: no thank you.

they're seriously running out of ideas with the LEDs, and just about every other design element.

And didn't they delay this A4 to punch up the styling?

What if someone DIDN'T use stylized LEDs and just kept things simple and made the LEDs be unobtrusive? I suppose it could be worse. There are some seriously overdone LEDs over at Hyundai/Kia.

Honestly. That's seriously what it feels like Audi focuses on solely. Every-time a new model comes out, they tout the headlamps as the next advancement, but then a new model comes out a couple months later with a completely different layout. And it's not like these changes are even improvements anymore. Just change for sake of change. Wouldn't be a big problem if Audi bothered with redesigning the rest of the car, but ffs, once again Audi is releasing a "new" car that just comes off as a moderate refresh.

Several places re posting a yellow A4 claiming it is the new one and if it is...it's a carbon copy of the A4 on the lot at your local Audi dealer.

From an article on Pistonheads, is this an RS4 mule or an S4 with odd wheelarches? It probably is an RS4, as the Allroad wheelarches are a bit random for an S4 options list item :) , but the exhaust is S4 quad tailpipe (RS4 has had huge dual pipes before)
