Default 2017 McLaren 720S

Successor to the 650S has leaked. Looks much better so far.

Having seen a few 650s on the road, I think they're sexy as hell.

Hard to tell what this new car looks like w/ the angle and possible lens distortion. Looks a bit like a Laferrari to me.

MP4-12C was the best looking supercar. Went all downhill from there.

McLarens have always left me cold for styling. They always look like--to me--concept versions of what Mitsubishi would show if they were doing a new Eclipse.

That amount of dark red velour and nearly vinyl like leather would make every 1980ies or 90ies Buick jealous.

And if you look at the lack of quality/uniformity in the stitching, you know this is a real quality job.

I normally LOVE stitching, but there's a time when too much really is just too much. I feel like McLarens are known for being relatively spartan and "pure." This just makes me think I'm sitting in a punch bowl w/ some fruity drink bathing me.

I know this car is fast and very competitive, but boy, I just can't get past its ugly, insectoid looks. In fact, all McLarens lately look like they've been flogged to death with an ugly stick.
