Default '07 Sze-Ng Exiss

Presenting the 2007 Sze-Ng Exiss.

Company Info:

Established between my cousin and I back in 2003, the company got its name by fusing our last names, Szeto, and Ng. The result is Sze-Ng, pronounced "zeng", which has a catchy, yet Chinese sound.

Car info:

The first car ever created by Sze-Ng was the Exiss, a name created by combining the words EXample and ISSue. Since the name does sound like Lexus, the car will probably receive a new name before long. The car originally had scissor-doors and a window at the bottom of the doors, though for practical reasons, these design features have been eliminated.

The latest generation Exiss features the trademark front grill slit, sleek headlights, and wheels-at-the-corners-hatchback design for maximum interior space. The front grill in this generation runs along the width of the car's front, wraps around the front fenders and ends just in front of the A pillar. This allows the Exiss's engine to receive enough air, while simultaneously functioning as a heat vent for the engine.

The car seats four people comfortably with it's long wheelbase and hatchback design.

just as a bit of a spoiler for the DeLorean design contest, there are similarities between my entry and the '07 Exiss's front end and line leading from the nose to the B pillar. And I know that the windows are a bit small for a production design, I have no rims, and the sketch is quite rough. I'm also aware of some other issues, but I'm not too sure. Comments? =D

P.S. I can also post the previous generations if people are interested. I can also produce a rear view and possibly an interior design. Perhaps I'll just post those later if I feel like it. I also have to work on my DeLorean entry.

Nice, but try to make your lines a bit more sharper, ie. using a pen afterwards or a 4B+ Pencil.

thanks for the comments so far!! any more input on the design itself? besides the rims of course.

Peugeot_206, could you explain to me where you see all those similarities? To me, the greatest similarities are on the shape of the side windows, the C pillar, the shape of the taillights and possibly the body side?

Actually me too. Especially the headlight design and air intake design is a bit similar to Alfa Romeo's.

It would be SWEET as a four-foor, perhaps a CLS-like "4-door coupe." As simply a 2-door, however, it looks too long in the back. Maybe you could lengthen the door a little.

actually, I think the design doesn't flow too well, and is modern, but the style won't last more than a year. I think i'll go for a redesign. Suggestions??

I think the design has several good ideas in chunks, they just don't stick together very well. you need to have similiar design traits throughout the design, and you need to have lines that somewhat connect with each other. This car is just screaming for just that.
