Default Jaguar XE Coupe

Images may not be re-posted without permission.

Jaguar's new XE will also be accompanied by a coupe and cabriolet variants. Guess Jaguar really wants to fight BMW 4-Series and the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe.

The Jaguar Camry produces a Jaguar Solara. Your chop is high quality--as always--most decidedly and you have captured with accuracy--as always--the clusterblam that an XE coupe would be, but the XE is straight out of 1999 and deadly boring to look at.

Dear Jaguar, please use THAT rear-end on the XE. It is 1000% better than the mess you went with.

I have to agree. I
d still much prefer the Bertone concept.

To me, it now looks Seat instead of VW/Audi, but still VAG. So I have to say: "Dear Jag, please use the F-Type rear lights..."

I think ultimately using a 4 series window treatment just doesn't work and overall makes the car look a decade old.

The thing with Theo's work is NOT that he makes ugly cars beautiful but that he NAILS what the manufacturer will produce with 90+% accuracy 2-3 years before production.

I think he's dead on. That his brilliance.

I always love your work, Theo, and this is no exception! That rear-end treatment is exponentially nicer than what Jag went with for the 4 door. Only thing I would suggest: I think it would look better if the side-windows tapered to a point like the F-Type at the side, rather than having the overused BMW-style kink. But that's Jag's doing, not yours.
