Fantastic Job Ford! Easily the best looking pickup out on the market! Now slap F100 titles on it and bring it here!

This article explains why it's not coming to NA:
They don't state whether or not a new Ranger will be built for the NA market or if it will be discontinued. However, if they continue selling them I personally think that they really have to make a new one. The current one is too expensive, too hard on gas, and has no room. Not to mention the styling is pretty ineffective.

I really like the design but the back and the profile don't look so fresh as the headlights. So it's kind of a weird combination. Mitsubishi's pick up looks much better, even if it is already on the market for a long time, in my opinion.

Hmm, I did think the current one was canceled and succeeded, in effect, buy the new 6 cylinder F150 (tho its had such engines in the past). My misunderstanding.
BTW, TCC?? That place still exists....

Personally I think this has taken over from the Nissan Navara / Frontier as the standout in its class in terms of looks. Triton would be just about bottom of my list - it looks hideous in lower spec models, awkward at best in top-spec form.

Btw., as I posted in the Euro NCAP thread yesterday, this is the first 5 Star pick up, not only after their ne, more stringent rating, but ever!!
Great achievement, not only considering the MY 2008 2 star rating, but as 2-3 stars is still the class standard in this segment....
