HELP!

I have an idea for the the new design contest, but I can't draw it!

Can someone who has the talent to realise my idea, and doesn't mind doing this, draw this out for me?

PM me for details - don't want my idea getting nicked lol!

Whoever does this can have a joint entry in the contest if they want!

Cheers guys!

Hello fellow MG nut!!

Your drawing is quite good. Like the take on the Rover name lol. Great design too.

What needs improvement.... the front (from the A pillar forward) looks like it has melted. Too much slope.

I'm not the best placed to give you advice on how to improve, as my drawings need a lot of improvement too lol!

Thanks for the advice Prodigy! I'll try and make the front of my cars longer and more proportioned in future.

I just wanted to share this outstanding sketching tutorial video by Mikael Lugnegard with you guys. http://vimeo.com/2406221. Its an hour long so be prepared, relax and enjoy. He covers most of the basics needed to further develop your sketching technique which is very useful to designers wanting to improve.

Awesome vid, thanks for posting. I liked it when he said there was no magic to it, just hard work

Default help finding "X-Ray diagram"?

hi guys
I've got a design project in mind and need a profile "x-ray" diagram of a v8 RWD 2+2 or sedan,
like what they used to have with every review in the print car magazines umpteen years ago,
showing engine+transmission+seats?+etc within the overall ToScale car

here's as close as I've come in faking one (...a 2010 Mustang = ideal)
< click for fullsize
but
my engine-guess wasn't realistic enough
cuz when I started modifying, the proportions got distorted very quickly

so
has anyone noticed this kind of diagram somewhere on the web recently?
or have a magazine with one that they could scan?

TIA
