The bar nose grill HAS TO GO because it is so damned UGLY.

I really like it. It's a stylish sedan on a budget and for what they did I applaud them. The LTZ trim level is by far my favourite.

Sadly, the grille is one of a great number of things that need to go. Maybe they could keep the tyres and start again from there.

Then again, the wheels are really tiny - probably at least one size up?

Like the Onix, the face is an improvement. The rear end still looks unfortunate. Overall, better, but not great.

They Chevy grille needs a total rethink because it's no exactly attractive on any of their cars. This is OK looking. The tail is terrible. The lights make it look narrow and tall whereas horizontal lights would have been much nicer.

Inside and out looks much better than the 2017 Sonic facelift. Not sure if this is the same platform but if it is I'm baffled as to why they didn't replace the Sonic in the US with this.

The Onix/Prisma is on the Gamma platform and Sonic is Gamma II which probably means they are substantially similar.

The Sonic desperately needs a rethink because sales have collapsed on it. It has been a good seller in the USA, but it's been allowed to get stale.

Spark sales are up. I think in the American market A/B/C segment cars are just "small cars" to buyers. Buyers in these segments are often on a tight budget so a lot comes down to price. When the Spark came out, I was in the market for a car and actually preferred the Spark to the Sonic.
