That's why I said I'm hoping... ;) The design itself is getting dated is my point, whether or not the the public knows that it's been on sale for years in other markets.

The Ranger is coming back. Chevrolet picked their pocket by keeping the Colorado.

Apparently, Ford really likes to take old vehicles and pass them off as new. First the EcoSport, and now this. At least this is still one of the best vehicles in its class, unlike the EcoSport.

The current Ranger interior looks like a softer version of the F150's.

That is ridiculously cheap. The highest spec Ford Ranger on sale here will set you back CA$63,000 not including registration and road user charges. It's main rival the Toyota Hilux will set you back CA$66,300 plus on-road costs. Hell the least expensive Ford Ranger will set you back CA$42,000 plus on road costs.

I guess it depends on the market...$43K for that product here is a bit on the high side...especially in contrast to a mid-range F150/Ram

I guess comparing pricing between various markets makes little sense, given very different taxation/import tariffs etc.; Even inner EU pricing differs substantially given very different national taxing.

Only sense is comparing prices to the nearest competitors and then see how much cheaper resp. more expensive the model is. Here in Europe the Ranger is very competitive, probably the cheapest pick up in it's size (Isuzu D-Max, where on sale undercuts it, as do some limited quantity Chinese trucks)
