Looks pretty promising to me so far. I'll hold my official opinion until it's complete because there's still lots of time for them to mess this up.

Not too bad, but I'm not fond of the dip in the window. I like my Jeeps with minimal round or "soft" elements. The GC is as round as any Jeep should ever be.

FIrst I thought, the kink is tehre because it uses an Alfa Guilietta door. But it seems different. Probably it will share quite a lot externally with the upcoming ALfa SUV, so this might be a tribute to ALfa nevertheless....

NONE of these cars are going to be rebadges. Chrysler/FIAT doesn't do rebadges of vehicles sold alongside each other (minus the minivans). The Dart doesn't even share a single piece of sheetmetal with an Alfa.

Let's hope so. Though the Lancia/Chrysler story in Europe is one of pure rebadge (with probably slightly finer interiors). But I hope an Alfa ROmeo SUV will not be a Jeep with a nose job.....

Can somebody explain to me why Jeep sells the Patriot, Compass, and Liberty when they are all categorized as compact SUVs?

I think this will replace at least 2 if not all 3 of them....
