the new ridgeline is exceeding sales forecasts but doubt it can keep that momentum. I think the styling is too soft this time around. If Mercedes styled their pickup as a slightly watered down G wagon on a GLS size platform, I think it would be a successful, at least for one generation until the next niche catches on.

18K units in 6 months is a dismal performance for a pickup in its size class. If it's exceeding Honda's forecast, then Honda must have thought the Ridgeline was a real loser.
