Here's some new shots of it.

The shape is bad enough as it is. But this example also has some side vents that look like they came straight from Advance Auto Parts.

i think it looks great. i mean, what large SUV looks good? The GL? yeah right. The navigator is absolutely gaudy and apart from the escalade, large(r) SUV's tend to look boring.

the QX actually has style to it. I love the DLO and it works well as a successor to the last vehicle.

if they would just give this the roofline of the FX from the B pillar back it would be so much better, especially within the Infiniti lineup

This new-generation Infiniti QX56 appears more fluid and with more integrity and overall quality than the outgoing model, with far more power and performance and higher levels of luxury, too. I'm looking forward to this when it debuts in New York (NYIAS).

I'm still hoping that a regular Patrol will succeed the Armada at Nissan, as I've posted about this before, but we haven't had a final answer regarding this.

There's just so little on this car that looks right. It's not even classically ugly, just like taking bits, which look okay themselves, and arranging them in an absolutely inappropriate way....

Thumbs down

I wonder what the folks in the marketing department going to have to do when making a commercial for this monstrosity?
All other Infinity models are advertized with clean-line, smooth sketches that blend into the car that it is.
However, with the new QX it is going to be a hell of a challenge.

I cannot imagine that anyone at Nissan/Infiniti can be so blind as not see how tasteless this car looks.

Whatever the styling looks like, if this thing doesn't offer some more exotic technology in the mechanical department (like adjustable air suspension) or true luxury in the interior, it just won't sell.

BTW, wasn't this supposed to have debuted at the Chicago auto show?

Facelift teased. It appears to look better, but pretty much anything would:
