Default 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB

No surprise, it looks just like the concept.

https://www.automobilemag.com/news/2...-photos-specs/

A bit bland, and apparently it looks much bigger in pics than it is in real life, since it's actually smaller than the GLC (but full details yet available). I like that it's got a boxier and more form-follows-function design than most other modern MBs....

It feels larger than the GLC but wheelbase is smaller so it is technically smaller. I do feel it might be a bit cramped for 7 grown adults.

GLA 106.3in

GLB 111.4in

GLC 113.1in

I think it looks good inside and out. They're gonna sell a lot of these.

So when are they replacing the GLA, though?

Out of all the promo pictures, Ive yet to see any of the backseats. They are touting seats for 7 but no images.

The interior (on this fully speced press car) certainly looks very luxurious, but the exterior has some weird proportions, and the "soft edges" design approach has some first generation Tiguan to it;

Also I suspect that like the A-Class, this will be crazy expensive, especially once you start to go for a press car appearance in and outside (a base A-Class, far from cheap, has nowhere near this flair outside or that tech and luxury feel inside)

It looks a decade old is the problem. I think this is a terrible stumble.

There are a number of spy shots of it out there. It'll probably be here as a 2021 model

should've given it more unique taillights but overall a nice entry point to the Mercedes SUV lineup given the GLA looks more like a hatchback. offering a third row seat for kids is smart, it keeps Mercedes in the running for those who could not YET afford the GLE or GLS. hopefully as the kids grow, so does the budget for a new car.
