Default 2020 Lincoln Corsair

Basically a mini Aviator. I dig it:

Hopefully, the interior will look like a scaled down version of the Aviator, as well. This could be the home-run that Lincoln desperately needs.

Bye, bye painfully generic MKC.

Ford has to speed up its product releases. Too many of their products get old, stop selling then they realize its time to do something. Too little too late.

I was reading somewhere that this got bumped up a year (from 2021).

Too little, too late? Maybe not. Lincoln seems to have finally found it's styling mojo, and their recent SUV releases supposedly drive very well, too. I think there are still many buyers who want a distinctly American-style luxury car, and Lincoln appears to be offering that w/ their SUV lineup. Hell, I'd consider a Corsair for my next car (hopefully many yrs from now), given the way it's looking.

For me, the main remaining issues will be engines (EcoBoosts don't post good numbers relative to the Germans, IIRC) and pricing (they need to start like $5000 under the Germans and they need to keep some sort of price advantage after discounts and rebates are calculated).

Yup that’s mentioned in the article accompanying the spy shots. They’ve reportedly moved this up a year.

Interior, similarly looking like a mini Aviator. This is a homerun:

I think the cont'd use of the push button gear selector is really silly, but the interior otherwise looks awesome. So glad to see Lincoln making a stylistic comeback.

If they could somehow find a way to put the 2.7L V6 in there to challenge the GLC43 and X3 m40i (and improve the fuel economy of the 4-cyl EcoBoosts), that would be AMAZING.
