I like it, but being pretty. Why hasn't Hyundai moved to LED indicators. This would look stunning if they could if made the indicator housings more compact using LED.

I'm not convinced this is the north american version...the pictures seem off to what the spy shots show.

If it is, wow, what a disappointment.

I'm willing to bet they are, but lower trim levels still have non-LED configurations, which is why they remain larger. For example, the facelifted Tucson has LED headlights, but only on the upper trim levels.

How so? As far as I can tell, this matches up with the spy shots identically.

Take a look at the comments in the Carscoops story on this, a few of the comments identify the lines etc between the camo'ed car and the leaks:

The license plate holder screws ...looks european. I likely am wrong -but just something I though.

Also -I thought the latest spy shots I saw had an illuminated 'Sonata' logo across the trunk lid (which I thought was cool)

Rumor has it the Sonata and i40 will merge, which might explain the european license plate appearance.

It makes a lot of sense, and the supposed i40 prototypes caught mostly in Germany matches this vehicle 1:1 (minus minor, federal differences like number plates)
