Default 2019 BMW X4 (Bimmer)

After a rather short run for the current model, here is the new BMW X4

https://www.netcarshow.com/bmw/2019-x4_m40d/

Whilst at first glance your usual BMW "spot the difference" game, it has actualkly grown quite a bit, 5,4cm in wheelbase and 8cm in length, and the rear end now has more of a Mercedes vibe, with now a hump in the hatchback and the shape of the rear lights, and the lack of a proper Hofmeister kink; This is the X4 M40d range topper, together with the M40i petrol the only 6 cylinders; all otehr cars will have a new 2.0 turbo 4, in both petrol and diesel shape;

It looks cheap. Cheap is not a problem (Dacia), but it also looks ugly.

The rear is an abomination. At least the front is an improvement, although it's a BMW, so we've seen it all before.

Suddenly, because of the adventurous X2, the X4 looks so ancient and dated.

i actually think this looks great relative to all the other coupe SUVs out there, especially the rear. But that's partially because the bar is so low for a great looking SUV coupe. Interior seems very busy relative to the competition.

Well, the X2 looks like a Hyundai, and it's different for a BMW, but nothing groundbreaking as a car in general - I'm saying this after seeing it live from every possible angle.

New X4 is slightly better than the outgoing model - but the Merc inspired rear doesn't really mix well with the same old boring BMW front IMO.
In this class GLC Coupe is still the king.

Not a huge fan of the rear but it isn't that bad. It'll be a while before I'm used to it. I still prefer the X6 anyways

Another awful front end by BMW. They are so lost with their styling... Constant garbage up front... The rear is sleek and modern, but the headlights and detailing are bulbous.

Those tail lights look ripped from the upcoming 8 Series too... hm...
