Let's hope it will be CRV/RAV4 sized and priced. That will make NA VW dealers very happy.

It's said to be bigger, sop I guess size will be right. Pricing is another story though....

This can't be the US-spec model, since our version is supposed to have three rows.

It will likely be more of VW's bait and switch. The Jetta and Passat have remarkable base prices, but the way VW bundles things prices escalate.

I'm hoping that with Piech gone, VW will get much more serious and responsive vis a vis their NA operations.

It's also amazing when you consider how many features the cars lack compared to the competition, especially in terms of the latest safety tech like blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

Which I don't fully understand, considering we're also supposed to be getting the Crossblue midsizer at some point...someday...maybe.

The Crossblue is supposed to be an Explorer/Highlander sized vehicle, right? (i.e. not a CRV-sized vehicle)

Right. Which begs the question as to why a CR-V/RAV-4/Escape-sized vehicle needs three rows.
