And their need to win back confidence. The irony is that Hyundai did not need the long warranty when they instituted it. It was done as a marketing ploy to get people to buy a Hyundai.

Also, here's a shock: introduction has now been delayed four months for both this and the CrossBlue.

Are you f***ing kidding me? Why am I even surprised...

The CrossBlue is going to be ready for a replacement by the time it even hits the market. What a joke.

Bring the SWB version. This looks almost more awkward than the CR-V with that short stubby nose.

The new VWoA quietly dropped that into an AdAge article yesterday. After months of swearing up and down that first deliveries of the CrossBlue would hit dealers by December, he said they expect to have it in showrooms by "March or April" of next year.

And that's after they've been releasing pre-production photos of the body in white just to reinforce the idea it will be delivered on time.

The longer 7 seat version, now officially called "Tiguan Allspace". This is the version the US will receive as well. Officially still a prototype, but the "not so heavy camo" is giving us a pretty clear picture of this not so surprising car. Wheelbase and length grow by 11 resp 21 cm compared to the standard car

I think it will continue to be an "also ran" in the market. It's uninteresting to look at. It's not ugly, so much as devoid of style. Losing the dumb name is too much to ask for. If VW thinks this is what will bring success in the American market they are stupid, but given the arrogance of Dieselgate, they probably just don't care.
