Hard to say, PSA did have quite a low point (both style and quality wise) back when Fiat took over Chrysler; They have made a great comeback, but it#s not the mid 2000s Peugeots (COtroen had the gorgeous C6 though) that will once be remembered as their greatest hour...

Also, when PSA back in the late 70ies got their hands on Chrysler of Europe (Simca, Rootes, etc.), they made 2 - 3 half hearted cars (Tagora, Samba) and then closed them down, devaluing the Talbot name in that process. SO probably not the best omen...

Looks great, and knowing that Peugeot makes stunning interiors lately and well built cars this would tempt people. Glad to see the Lion badge positioned on the grill again, i really don't like the current 308 grill which looks anonymous and kind cheap IMO. I much prefer the Lion badge at front like on the GT models. Now that Ford stupidly killed off the Mondeo the Peugeot could make a viable alternative to the Skoda Superb and VW Passat which will be it's biggest rivals by far in its markets. In markets such as China or even Australia though the competition is a lot different and french cars are also usually sold at higher prices than other Asian brands as well as even some Volkswagens.

Stunning! Heck even swizzle likes it! Can't wait for the full reveal. Knowing that the interior will obviously look fantastic makes the anticipation even greater!

well... me to, but with a certain amount of "fear&reservation"... cause prevailing opinion on french forums is that its front will look something like this:

... I have to say that, judging by some up-close front spy shots, it is hard to imagine having these "fangs" with features obviously visible on the shots, but we all know what french designers are "capable" to do ;)... so, swizzle might get his "french field day" anyway ..

Meh i wouldn't mind that front. Biggest criticism would be that it perhaps looks like it would better suit a 2-door Audi sportscar instead of a Peugeot. I know there is the potential of some of its parts to not look ideal but then again, just as with many current Renaults, i prefer a few quirks here and there rather than another fully German inspired design (minus front lol). In any case i am still quite optimistic :)
