Absolutely love this car. I cant believe they managed to improve on its legendary capability and ruggedness, yet managed to fit autonomous braking, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning etc.

Subaru can't fit eyesight to a manual.
Jeep can't fit autonomous braking to the Wrangler.
Toyota can't even fit airbags to the Land Cruiser.

But Suzuki can fit the latest safety tech to manual Jimnys.

And that styling is adorable. Top marks for Suzuki on this one!

I just hope the K15b engine is durable and reliable.

Which Land Cruiser does not have Airbags? Even the oldest ones dating back to the 80ies and not sold globally do offer them by now.

I guess the AEB problem of Jeep is the folding wind screen, after all all those systems are usually fitted between the rear view mirror and the wind screen, and if you'd fold it it would not work, and every time folding it back iit would probably need new calibration; Granted there are more sophisticated systems using all round sensors, but that's probably too expensive or again going against the typical Jeep customer who will fit a lift kit and different bumpers...

In case of Subaru however this can only be a cheap excuse, most systems are similarly based on cameras and a LIDAR (granted, Subaru uses stereo cameras), and these systems are compatible with manuals; Yes, a full automated braking will likely stall the car, but still better than crashing....

Not my type of car, but stunning vehicle nonetheless. In dark green it looks top. Kudos for Suzuki on this one.
