Yeah, the Focus needs better interior packaging, if you look at the current one, the wide console eats up front knee space....
... while the rear seats seem to be positioned well ahead of the rear wheels, this means less rear knee room.
Why I think the rear seats couldn't be moved back? The location of the fuel tank provision and crossbeam basically dictated where the rear seat should be, a design carried over from the previous C1 platform which the Mk3's Global C platform is derived from.
