If you prefer a small sedan boot, here is for India's sub4m sedan market the new suzuki Maruti Dezire, the sedan version of the new Swift:
it is slightly less ungainly than before, likely because this time it was not an afterthought, but still barely acceptable. Also, if you look at the interior shot, the rear bench is pushed basically to the rear end of the c-pillar, and the angled rear window cutting of head room for anyone older than say 12 or taller than Dany De VIto. So unless you really hate a hatchback, I really fail to see any reason to get this over the far better looking and more practical and spacious sedan.
Inside, the quantity (or existence at all) of the tacky fake wood is certainly down to market preferences, but I still wonder what the ton of blank switches is for, if the launch photo car lacks all those functions (usually there is never again a car as loaded as the one the launch photos are done with). Probably it's just there to remind Indian customers that they are purchasing this in a developing market and they are left out of the latest tech and gadgets the wealthier markets receive in there little Suzuki.
