I like it & looks very nice, wish we would get vehicles like this in the US.

Yeah indeed. Really neat looking :)

However, I'm not sure if this would ever be approved for the United States in this form (since I think you guys have some law or regulation wherein an automobile sold in your country is required to have its engine in the front of the vehicle..........and not underneath the driver/front passenger)

Yes we do, that's why we have things like the Caravan and the Flex.
