Well, it looks a lot like a Ford passenger car, unlike most Transits before (probably the 1986 model - the last one with a truely new shape - shared comparably lot visual DNA with FOrd's tehn current Aero style), which is a good thing. The VW Transporter sells in huge numbers in Europe, thanks for it's "not so utilitarian" way. This is the first true competitor, and looking more modern, and even more car like. I have the feeling this will be a huge success by Van standards
That said, it does look bigger on this photo than it did as concept.

A bit more plastic on the front than I prefer, but a nice looking van nonetheless.

Excellent mid range commercial between the Transit Connect and Transit. Much improved from the last generation.

Here's the FWD Transit version of the Tourneo.

- Ford video (WCF).
Based on initial info, Ford is making it sound like the new FWD Tourneo/ Transit and the longer/larger RWD Transit will look different.
With the current outgoing Transit, the FWD model shares the same body as the longer/larger RWD model.

I wouldn't be surprised if "higher roof and longer wheelbase" would be tha main differences. Even if it has a diffeerent body, I suspect a similar design language, given how most new Fords look very similar to each other....

Transit looks very good. Battle with VW Transporter, MB Sprinter, Ducato/Jumper/Sprinter and Mascott will be very, very hard

Stripping it down to cargo van trim actually helps the look. Wouldn't mind seeing these making deliveries all over the place.
