Is the NA version a hybrid as well? Maybe I missed in the autoblog report?

Honda NA hasn't confirmed yet what powertrain options the HR-V will have for North America. They are also being stingy on the interior pics.

Knowing Honda's M.O., I'll be shocked if we get the hybrid.

The China spec HR-V has been revealed. And it's much better looking than the US-spec one. Front bumper is a bit garish, but the grille and tail lights are a lot sleaker and more modern.

Yeh, it looks pretty decent in Chinese spec.

The front is still garishly busy. Below the bumper is just stupidly overwrought. Better than what I've seen of the American version, but not brilliant.

It's just the front and rear of the accord coupe slapped onto it. Personally the rear of the US ones looks better than this

Um...not really at all. But, ok.

Wow that's far better than the HR-V. The front and rear are cleaner, and the side surfacing looks much better; it actually has some tension and direction to it. The interior of the HR-V isn't bad but this looks noticeably nicer, and all they did was swap the square air vents for circular ones and tweak the center console (the gauges/top part of the dash insert and the door cards look pretty much the same).

No idea why this isn't the global version, it would work just as well in the US or Europe, probably better even, than the one we're getting.
