It's not a bad looking car or anything, but it brings zero new to the segment IMO. It's an XF with some 3 series in it, and the rear lights look like the standard VAG rear end of the past 5 years.

I'm not sure about the interior, it looks okay, but put it next to a new C-Class in nice spec or imagine what the next Audi A4 (due within a few months) will offer, and it looks pretty average. The screen position and integration (recessed between buttons) also look more like 5 years ago than a premium mid sizer for 2015...

What happened to Jaguar? They used to make cars so beautiful you didn't care about all the mechanical and electrical problems. Now they make cars that just fit in. If this thing has problems, it's finished.

Fail. I hope the Giulia won't be the same, but I doubt. Even if the Giulia will have faults like the 4C, I'll still likely buy it.

Agreeing with everything you said. Interieur looks like a Kia in highest trim level to me.

I think i'll wait until I see other colour and trim specs before deciding but from this it is a little disappointing.
It does look good though, i'd just liked them to have gone further.

Though saying that it is a car entering one of the most conservative segments in the world (more so than where both XF and XJ are).

While the design is generally clean, there is nothing here that we haven't seen before. The design is also too conservative for a Jaguar IMO.

Previous generation Acura TSX + ugly XJ face with a price that is $15K too high. This is a disaster. Ford is laughing. Tata should be pissed at Callum.

Previously you said you looked the xj face, and this is the high spec model. Entry levels are yet to be revealed.
Or is your overpricing comment taking into account your assumption that they should buy into the market (always a good tactic for a luxury marque)
