Default 2018 Jaguar E-Pace

This thing is gonna sell. Looks even better than the F-Pace, although that interior looks MIGHTY cramped upfront.

They also did a record-breaking barrel roll with it at its unveiling:

It certainly looks terrific. Shame it's FWD based, but I'm sure that won't stand in the way of its success.

I think it's unfortunate looking from the front.

What's with the Chinese-counterfeit-wannabe-Porsche-looking face?

Subjectively--for a Jaguar--the F Pace is a sales sensation, but only because Jaguar sales are so terrible to begin with.

Objectively--for a crossover with its price--the F Pace is a total joke for sales.

The Lexus RX is sized and priced similarly and outsells the F Pace by 10:1.

This will probably sell well--for a Jaguar--but will be another dud when examined objectively.

The front end to me is totally F-Type but in crossover form, so I'm not sure what you're seeing. Also, I don't disagree that the F-Pace isn't setting the market on fire, but do keep in mind it's in it's first year of sales and the RX is a VERY established nameplate in this segment.

No, but the price might be a problem. I read on one auto mag that the base price in the U.S. will be $38000. It's only a little over $3000 less the the F-Pace, and it's more than the Audi, BMW, MB, and Lexus. The Audi is very long-in-tooth, and the MB is unimpressive. However, the BMW and Lexus are worthy competitors, and one would be hard pressed to choose a Jag at a HIGHER price over either of those two, IMHO.

Agreed. Given how lovely the rest of the design turned out, the front is very unfortunate and already needs a facelift.

Watered-down Porsche Macan/Cayenne face made more generic.

glad they went with more F-Type than F-Pace headlights so that its differentiated from the big brother. Would take this over the overstyled Evoque. This does a great job of hiding FWD proportions as well. Barrel roll stunt is kind of awesome too.

It's OK , but I expected something more.
At some angles it looks a little bit bloated. Plus IMO the bad thing of this design is that it requires huge wheels to look only okayish. All the press pics have 21" wheels and they certainly don't look spectacular on the car that is less than 4.40m long. And interior looks average.
