Bruno is funnier than Borat at times, mainly because it makes fun of people's homophobia and insecure "male" status, lol.

against the wall: so you are watching the dark knight in IMAX?? Wow, i envy you soooo much, wish we had an IMAX theater where i live, but i will be in London in September for a week so i hope to be able to catch it there

Crap...i checked the schedule for the Dark Knight at London's IMAX, for some dumb reason screenings only last for one month so it finished on the 24th of August, yet i am going to London on the 17th of September With the lack of proper IMAX films i am surprised they don't have it playing for at least 3 months

and also an advantage of IMAX is that I wont have to deal with screaming children, since most parents around here dont wanna drag their 5 year old to a movie where they can get motion sickness in.

Sounds like Borat to me:

CNN.com: "Was male stripping, kissing stunt from 'Borat'?"

I just take serious issue with someone exploiting (for the sake of "satire") those people who are clearly the minuscule minority in our country and thereby painting the U.S. as this backwards place full of bigotry and ignorance. That's all Borat was, to me, and from the looks of things Bruno will be no different.

I try to give people some credit but the fact of the matter is that Borat--even though it's allegedly just a parody--probably informed/influenced many people's perceptions of the U.S., and not in a good way. It looks like Sacha Baron Cohen is setting out to make a sequel in that sense...

I think Micheal Moore did a far more convincing job at that than Borat

The last couple of movies I've seen were Indy and The Hulk. Both were entertaining and good, although not exactly bombastic. Anybody seen Hancock? I'm kinda looking forwards to that, asides from The Dark Knight and Wall-E...

Since IronMan I haven't seen anything. I gotta catch Indy and Hulk and wanna see Wanted & Hellboy.

What I'm really looking forward to see is Bond and, of course, Dark Knight.

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_dark_knight/

It has to be sensational. It already has a few rave reviews from critics on rottentomatoes.

'The Dark Knight is not only the best film I have seen this year, but quite possibly the best superhero movie ever made.'
'Daring and uncompromisingly different from previous incarnations of Batman, Nolan hasn't redefined the superhero genre as much as created an unforgettable piece of crime fiction within the context of that realm.'
'Nolan's sequel surpasses the original with an intense, disturbing masterpiece. '
